If you’re only getting novacaine, it’s okay to take the clonazepam. Be very sure that they’re not going to knock you out with valium, because then the combination of clonazepam and valium could knock you out/off.
If all you are getting is Novocaine, then yes its okay. But if you are being given any sedation….no. I would take them with you and ask the Dentist first.
They do not take long to work. If you take it when you get in the chair, by the time he numbs you up and begins the work….the pill will be in your system. And you will be fine.
As a dental assistant, I see this a lot and I am not a great patient myself.
